Another Retreat-O-Gram!
The Ninth Annual Anshei Darom Region Retreat is coming: Feb 22-24, 2008 at Camp Ramah Darom!
Ritual Participation Opportunities? We got 'em:
Davening - Torah Reading - Leading Birkat ha-Mazon - and lots more!
One of the things that sets our Anshei Darom Region Retreat apart from all the rest is our high level of ritual participation. We - Us Guys - lead all services, all birkats and all motzis - and we handle all the Torah readings.
Hey, who else is gonna do it?
Please send an e-mail to David Kerven (dkerven (at) comcast (dot) net), who has graciously accepted the role of Ritual Coordinator, and tell him exactly which part you'd like and it will be yours - as long as you're the first to sign up for it (or make the biggest pledge - HAH!)
If you've never led a service or read from the Torah before, this is the ideal opportunity to make your debut. We're all about teaching and encouraging and helping anyone who wants to expand his horizons. We can hook you up with a website where you can learn Torah trope, or provide you with a CD or an .mp3 file with your reading - whatever you prefer.
To join us, click this link to go to our online registration site (it's also on the sidebar near the top of this page). Simply fill out the registration form online and then send a check for $190 (payable to Anshei Darom Region), to Joe Zendlovitz, our venerable Region Treasurer and Retreat Registrar:

Hey, how much easier can it be?
Wishing All Y'all A Happy Bowl Game Season,
The Retreat Committee
